Emagale Counceller

I work across mosaics, printmaking, and pottery, creating pieces that often reflect my fascination with the natural world (especially plants). Whether I’m assembling fragments into a mosaic or shaping clay on the wheel, I’m drawn to textures, patterns, and the quiet intricacies of organic forms. My practice is rooted in curiosity and experimentation; I’m always eager to try new materials and techniques, allowing my work to evolve naturally as I grow.
As I graduate this May, I find myself reflecting on the journey that brought me here, a path shaped by exploration, play, and a deepening appreciation for handmade processes. I see each piece as a conversation between tradition and discovery, grounded in the tactile but open to transformation.
