Heather Johnson

I'm a Kodiak local, born and raised and running feral in the outdoors. I grew up riding horses and galavanting across the beaches and countryside. My art is primarily inspired by the local nature and wildlife that I've grown up watching. I'm a mixed media artist with an emphasis in wood and three dimensional art. I like to add interesting components to each piece, whether that be cast and molded barnacles, tree branches or salvaged beach finds. I enjoy trying new techniques and experimenting in the hopes of enjoying ever evolving artistic endeavors.
