Wherever I’ve been in the last 28 years, deep valleys and high mountains, creativity has always found me. Making something new out of scraps or imagining a whimsical landscape has consistently been my first instinct. Now that I have little ones, I’ve had to change my art flow to whatever burst of energy I have or short time frame. Motherhood has inspired and refined my artistic experience, I went from making highly detailed watercolor works to loose, painterly, earthy pieces with bright pops of color. I love to work with whatever I can get my hands on but acrylic, gouache, and pastel make my heart sing! My goal is to create art that plants a seed of cheer and whimsy in even the most crabby characters.
