Sally Troxell

Sally Troxell is a fiber artist whose work is deeply rooted in a family tradition of quilting and sewing passed down through generations. Inspired by quilts made by her great grandmother, great aunt, grandmother, and mother, she learned to sew and knit at a young age. While her early quilts were created for practical use, she later transitioned to creating art quilts intended for display. Her work often reflects the landscapes and atmosphere of Kodiak, drawing continual inspiration from the place she calls home.
